NBA First Look-12/11/2019-Value Report-Betting Odds-DraftKings Picks-Lineup Advice
What's up dudes? Its your excellent friend "The Brand" here. Going to consolidate all of the information into one nice post here. In the text I will provide the usual recap of the prior days slate on DraftKings. If you get to the very bottom of the post you will find a link to the video for the betting odds and first look at the slate for today 12-11-2019. So without any further adieu lets go ahead and jump into it.
Nuggets @ Sixers
This was projected as the lowest total of the night and it did not disappoint as both teams failed to crack 100 points. On the Denver side they were marred by injury to Jamal Murray, but were led in DraftKings scoring by Will Barton who went total ham for 51.25 DK points which was a 9x performance. Gary Harris and Paul Millsap also provided nice 5.5 and 6x values at their mid 4k prices. The Sixers were led by Embiid who hit a nice 5x which was a nice break since he was priced down below 10k. Tobias Harris also made value at 41.25 DK points, Josh Richardson re-entered the lineup here and only played 19 minutes and completely dudded for 6.75 DK points. Matisse Thybulle was a decent value 6x play going for 24.25 off his 4.3k salary.
Wizards @ Hornets
Wizards fell behind early here and never recovered. Davis Bertans had a nice game with 50.75 DK points and was one rebound away from a double-double. Hachimura was the number two guy on the team hitting a 6x plus score of 39.5 DK points. The only other Wizard that was a compitant roster was Troy Brown who achieved 5x. All in all very disappointing for a team with the highest projected total on the slate. Charlotte's guards had no problem dicing up Washington here as Devonte Graham and Terry Rozier led the team in DK scoring, combining for 87 DK points. Perhaps the bigger story is how leaky this Washington team is now down low without Thomas Bryant as Bismack Biyombo and Cody Zellar split time at the 5 down the middle and crushed their value with Biyombo hitting near 10x and Zellar hitting a nice 6x performance, the duo combined for 62.25 DK points. Miles Bridges was also a decent yet chalky play churning a 5.5x outing.
Hawks @ Heat
This was the game that ended up being the nuts play as the game went to an overtime period. The overtime period saw Atlanta get rocked and lose by 14 when it was all said and done. If you stacked or played this game extensively you were greatly rewarded. Especially on the side of Miami where a four man stack of Bam-Butler-Nunn-Robinson which was totally doable at right around 26k, went off for a combined almost 230 DK points. Which I don't have to say is absolutely insane. Yet do we mention Derrick Jones Jr. who also produced a 7x score of 24.75. For the Hawks it was a rough going and the production was a lot more spread out. Deandre Hunter did lead the team out of nowhere and hit a 10x score of 42 DK points. Jabari Parker was also a fine play and hit 5x. Kevin Huerter looked good back from injury, playing 26 minutes and accumulating 25.5 DK points. The Vinsanity retirement tour has officially begun as Carter found himself 26 minutes here in Miami and hit a nice 7.5x score of 22.75 DK points.
Knicks @ Blazers
Welp, the Knicks are still The Knicks and much to my chagrin/not this thing was a route from the get go. My prediction about the big four from Portland came half true as Whiteside-Lillard and Carmelo all hit value but C.J. McCollum was a dud. In an interesting note lets store for the futire that in blowout situations the Blazers are going to get Anfernee Simons on the court as he played 29 minutes here and hit a 9x game worth 28.75 DK points. The Knicks were as per usual a void of value as only two players made significant value. Julius Randle led the team but was only good for a 5x performance of 29.75 Dk points. Bobby Portis also double-doubled in just 20 minutes of work. Which we can't really count on going forward but is interesting to note.
