The Starting Five-DraftKings NBA 11-18-2019
Last week was excellent for the debut of this article and we look to keep it rolling this week. The article will post every week day. NFL articles will go live during the weekend. That's how things will shake out until the end of The NFL season rears it head. Once we get into baseball season we will have an article there as well. No plan to currently cover anything outside of that for now. It's Monday, in NBA
, time to get the week off to a good start so lets go ahead and jump into it. Here are your starting Five for Monday November 18th, 2019.
PG-Coby White (CHI) vs Milwaukee Bucks
Milwaukee is in the bottom ten in the league in raw dvp vs the PG position. Coby White should face no minute restrictions because Chicago is not on a back to back watch for this game. Coby White has averaged right at 15 shots a game last five games as well as averaged just under 30 minutes per game. At $5300 on DraftKings for today he is inefficiently priced as well as in a great spot.
SG-Rodney Hood (POR) vs Houston Rockets
Houston gives up the most raw points to the SF position than any other team in the NBA. This game has the highest total on the board at the time of this writing. Rodney Hood will play the three on the floor but we can use him at the SG spot on DraftKings if need be. Since returning from his back injury Hood has played over 30 minutes a game and is averaging over 10 shots a game. He should see plenty of good looks here with Westbrook/Harden matched up on Lillard/McCollum. Hood salary on DraftKings really helps us out as well at just $4700.
SF-Bojan Bogdanovich (UTA) vs Minnesota Timberwolves
Minnesota is in the bottom ten of the NBA in raw points given up to the SF position which is right where Bogdanovich plays. Bojan has been averaging over 30 minutes a game consistently while also averaging over 15 shots a game. He is someone to target on an almost nightly basis until DraftKings decides to raise his price out of the 6Ks where he has been the highest. For this game he is priced at a comfy $5800.
PF-Dario Saric (PHO) vs Boston Celtics
The Celtics are in the bottom 1/3rd of the League in raw points given up to PF. Dario Saric has averaged 29 minutes a game over his last five outings. Saric is averaging around 9 shots a game last five games which will do just fine if we can also get some rebounding from him here. His price of just $5500 is worth every penny for his opportunity.
C- Brook Lopez (MIL) vs Chicago Bulls
I wrote Brook up in this situation last week vs the exact same team The Bulls and it did not work out very well. Since it was the first time this year I looked at Lopez, I seemed to have forgotten one important lesson I learned about him from last year. Brook Lopez is SO MUCH BETTER ON THE ROAD! Same spot here Chicago is the worst at giving up points to Centers and I love the spot more here because ITS THE ROAD BABY! At just $5400 you know I love it!
