The Starting Five-DraftKings NBA 11-15-2019
Yesterday's five was another partial success. Devin Booker hit 5X, Redick had a sweet 6X and to top it off Jabari Parker also hit 5x Value. Brooke Lopez didn't quite get there but still hit 4X
and last and least Will Barton ended up being a total flop. Let's close out the work week on a high note and get after this money on Friday's slate. So let me get right to it.
Karl Anthony Towns vs The Wizards
This was originally written up for Wiggins, he is ruled out so in short, I'm moving this stock to KAT.
Bradley Beal vs The TimberWolves
Running it back here since this is the highest total game. Minnesota gives up the 6th most raw points to the SG position. This sets up nicely for Bradley Beal who has everything we want to roster. Beal will give us minutes in the upper 30's and is also pretty much a lock to give us over 20 shot attempts as well.
Andre Drummond vs The Hornets
This is a tricky one here. We have a total that's rising and Drummond facing a Hornets team that gives up the most raw points to the center position in the league and its not really even close. The minutes should be right around 35 with two off days upcoming after this. The return of Griffin does concern me slightly but I feel confident that Drummond is able to feast in this situation. They may even both eat tonight.
Eric Paschall vs The Celtics
The spot here is okay. Mainly what I am looking for here is salary relief. With the first three guys in the list priced up a bit, we will need to save salary somewhere. I really like Paschall minutes and shot attempts here. He has taken at least ten shots the last four games and has played at least 30 minutes in each of his last four games. You will be hard pressed to find that kind of production elsewhere on the slate for just $4900 DraftKings Dollars. This is also a great value that should go under-owned due to people chasing value elsewhere. Most of that will be noise, the information here we know is true.
Bryn Forbes vs The Magic
Granted this is not the best match-up wise as from a dvp perspective Orlando is stingy to every position besides Center. The thing is this is the first of a weird back to back for The Spurs where tonight they travel to Orlando and have to turn around and fly to Portland after the game to play The Blazers on Saturday night. Forbes is not affected by back to backs as he has shown he will play 25 minutes each night already this season. Last but not least Forbes is a great play every night until DraftKings raises his price, his modest $4400 is too low for a player that consistently gets 25 minutes a night and takes at least 10 shots a night.
