The Starting Five-DraftKings NBA 11-14-2019
Yesterday's slate went pretty well for the starting five, with everyone crushing value except for Graham, who was derailed by Terry Rozier. Graham didn't quite hit value, but it wasn't a completely tilting dud game either. I debated yesterday whether to include Dwight Howard or JaVale McGee, I went Howard who did hit value but no where near what McGee put up.
As I was making lineups later in the day I ended up using McGee in some spots or even both of them where I saw fit. I figured Howard would be on the floor more but nonetheless we saw McGee finally have a huge game like he did a few times last year. Either way let's get in to today as we look to move onward and upward.

J.J. Redick vs The Clippers
I originally wrote this up as Avery Bradley but since he isn't playing and I have no idea what The Clippers will do at PG. Let's switch it up to JJ Redick. Redick has been starting at the one since Lonzo Ball went down. The Clippers are 3rd worst at giving up PG points. So lets roll with this.
Devin Booker vs The Hawks
The Suns are on an island game at home, this team is vastly improved with Ricky Rubio running the show at PG. Rubio should have no problem getting Booker open looks at the wing, where Atlanta gives up the second most raw points to the SG position. Booker is priced pretty sweet at just $8100. He can give us superstar numbers today for 2K less than the top options on the slate like Doncic.
Will Barton vs The Nets
In the stone middle of a road trip are The Nets, who now have to go into the elevation chamber in Denver. Barton is in a smash spot this evening here. The Nets give up the 5th most raw points to that second wing position the SF. In fact all four other teams that give up more points to SF are not on this slate, so this is truly the best spot. I also don't mind Jamal Murray here as Brooklyn also gives up points like crazy to PG. Be that as it may, Barton here should come in with less ownership than Murray and is also $200 cheaper.
Jabari Parker vs The Suns
Since John Collins ended up suspended Jabari Parker has been averaging over 30 minutes a game. He has also taken an average of 20 shots over the last three games. This sets up perfectly for Jabari as The Suns struggle against PF giving up the most raw points to PF on the slate outside of Dallas, however I will not roster any Knicks tonight so this is the spot I prefer. Parker comes in at $7200 on DraftKings which is really too low for his upside, Parker should be priced right at 8K every night, so lets take advantage here!
Brook Lopez vs The Bulls
Even though his brother Robin is on the team now and there are going to be people out there screaming about "revenge narrative" block that noise out and play big brother Brook here. Robin is barely getting on the floor and I don't see that changing here. The Bulls are the stone worst at giving up raw points the Center position. The minutes aren't pretty and Lopez also risks foul trouble most nights as well. The shot count is not great as Brook hasn't taken more than 12 shots in a game, but the last time he did he also pulled down 12 rebounds and had his best game of the year with 44 DraftKings points. Lopez will be in most of my GPP lineups tonight.
